Dr. K K Ramalingam Conducting Temporal Bone Dissection Course

held regularly for four days in the 3rd week of February and in the 3rd week of September. During these courses, the young doctors who participate are shown live demonstrations of various ear operations. The patients who are operated during these coursers are operated completely free of charge. Prior to these courses, there is a free consultation camp, where all the patients are consulted free of cost.

Teaching programs in the field of Nose (Endoscopy Sinus Surgery) are also conducted. The last such program was held in July 2000 in which 400 doctors from all over India took part.

in different parts of the state. These camps are conducted between 8 and 10 times every year and are held at different locations of Tamil Nadu. IN these camps, the complete team headed by Professor Dr. KK Ramalingam, assistant doctors and other technical staff of Chinnammal ENT Hospital work closely in co-operation with organizations like Rotary, Lions Club IMA etc., to further complete free treatment to the patients in various locations. Patients who are seen in these camps, requiring surgery are referred back to Chinnammal ENT Hospital, where they get free treatment as in-patients. The operations and the post-operative care are taken care of completely free of cost. Recent camps have3 been held at Salem, Gobichettipalayam, Perambur and Tondiarpet and at the registered office.

The Research projects are evidenced by the numerous publications of Professor KK Ramalingam and his team in various national and international journals.

Professor KK Ramalingam and Dr. Ravi Ramalingam have written text books in the field of ENT for the benefit of under graduates and practicing doctors.

In addition, Professor KK Ramalingam and Dr. Ravi Ramalingam have written a book on Endoscopy Sinus Surgery.
