Professor K. K. Ramalingam is the Founder, Senior Professor & Chairman of the renowned KKR ENT Hospital & Research Institute Madras. Born in 1936, Prof. Ramalingam completed his DLO in 1962 (Madras University). He did his residency training between 1963 & 1966 at the Buffalo General Hospital, New York. He passed the FRCS (Ed) examination in 1967 and worked as a registrar in the Middlesex Hospital & Mt Vernon Hospital in London between 1966 & 1968. Returning to India, he was a Honorary Professor of ENT in the Govt. General Hospital & Madras Medical College for about 25 years till his retirement in 1993. His private hospital, KKR ENT Hospital & Research Institute has been in the forefront in this speciality, imparting service and education alike, to the people in this region and is a recognised centre for Diploma NB Training in ENT.

Professor K. K. Ramalingam has acheived many significant milestones in his long and distinguished career. He is currently an examiner for the FRCS Edinburg examination and was an examiner for universities all over India. He is an excellent teacher conducting numerous teaching courses in Otology, Rhinology and Head and Neck Surgery for the benefit of Post-Graduates and Practising ENT Surgeons. The charitable institute Chinnamal ENT Medical Education and Research Foundation, started in the memory of his late mother is dedicated to the purpose. He is a Past President of the Indian Society of Otology. His Manual, "Learning Ear Surgery Through Temporal Bone Dissection", still the standard book in its category all over India. He has just completed work on the third edition of his popular book for the undergraduates, "The Short Practice of ENT". 

Professor. Ravi Ramalingam is the managing director of the KKR ENT Hospital & Research Institute. He has been trained in various leading centers in India and all over world. His special interests include Middle Ear Surgery, Oto Neuro Surgery, Lasers, Cochlear Implant and Endoscopic Sinus Surgery. Is an instructor and demonstrator at various workshops all around the world in temporal bone dissection and FESS. Along with Professor K K Ramalingam , he has authored several books in the field of ENT including,  books on Functional endoscopic sinus surgery. Has presented papers and invited as  speaker at different workshops and conferences all around the  world. He is also one of the youngest surgeons to be conferred the prestigious FRCS degree.

Dr. T. M. Sreenivasa Murthy MB DLO, DNB - had his training in ENT from the Bangalore Medical College, Bangalore. He is a Senior Consultant at the KKR ENT Hospital and academic instructor for the Dip N B Residents. Special interest in Otology and rhinoplasty. He is married to Dr Madhuri and they hail from Bangalore.

 

Dr. N. Nagendran MB, DLO - had his ENT training from Madurai Medical College, Madurai from 2002 to 2004, and has joined the KKR ENT Hospital as a Junior Consultant in August 2004. His hobbies are reading novels and his chief interest is a career in otology. 

Dr. A Senthilvadivu MB, DLO - had her ENT training from Madurai Medical College, Madurai. She has joined as a Junior Consultant in October 2004. She is presently posted at the peripheral hospital, Chinnammal. Chess and Badminton are her other interest.

 

Dr. Uttam Agarwal - has joined in KKR ENT Hospital & Research Institute (P) Ltd. as Junior Consultant in July 2005. He Completed his Under graduation from Nilratan Sirkar Medical College, Kolkata. He is currently pursuing his Dip NB training and is the consultant and overall in-charge of the Belle Vue ENT clinic and hospital in Kolkata, a unit of the KKR ENT Hopital. He is married to Dr. Neelam, a dentist by profession. They hail from Kolkata.

Dr. P.Ezhilarasu MB, DLO - has joined the KKR ENT Hospital as a Dip NB candidate in August 2005. He completed his under graduation from KMC, Chennai and post graduation from SRMC & RI, Chennai. Presently he is the consultant at the Chrompet KKR ENT Hospital. 

Dr. Ramakrishna Raju- After completion of his MS in ENT from Kurnool Medical college has joined the KKR ENT Hospital as a Junior Consultant.  He completed his undergraduation from Sri Venkateshwara Medical College, Tirupati. He is the consultant in charge of the KKR ENT clinic at Mogappair. At his leisure times, he likes to sweat it out at the Badminton court. He is married to Smitha, Msc computers. 

 

Dr. Prasan Norman MB, DLO- Hails from Rajapalayam, Madurai and did his under-graduation and as well as post-graduation from the Raja Muthiah Medical College, Chidambaram. Likes loud music and long brisk walks. He is the junior consultant and Dip N B resident at the KKR ENT Hospital and Research Institute. 

Dr. Ramu H MB, DLO - Native of Dharmapuri, he did his under-graduation from Kilpauk Medical college and post-graduation in ENT (DLO) from the Madras Medical College. He is the junior consultant and Dip N B resident at the KKR ENT Hospital and Research Institute and as also manages the KKR periphery clinic, Velachery.  Likes to go on long drives and enjoys shopping and swimming and play with his tiny tot. Married to Sridevi. 

 

Dr. Aravindan MB, DLO - Hails from Thiruvannamalai and did his under-graduation from Sri Siddhartha Medical college, Tumkur. He did his post-graduation in ENT (DLO) from the Rajah Muthiah Medical College, Chidambaram. He is the junior consultant and Dip N B resident at the KKR ENT Hospital and Research Institute.  Likes to travel and play with his children. Married to Dr Karpagam, currently doing post graduation in Dermatology at Madras Medical College. 

 

Dr. Chandrakala G R MB, DLO- A Banglorean, she did her under-graduation from Sri Devaraja Urs Medical college, Kolar. She completed her post-graduation in ENT (DLO) from the Bangalore Medical College. She is the junior consultant and Dip N B resident at the KKR ENT Hospital and Research Institute. Her interests include arts and crafts. 

 

Dr. Sriram Nathan MB, DLO - Also a Banglorean, he did his under-graduation from the Calicut Medical college, Calicut. He completed his post-graduation in ENT (DLO) from the Bangalore Medical College.
